Agent not ruling out possible Pogba’s Juventus move from United
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba could follow Matthijs de Ligt to Juventus from the Eredivisie champs, Ajax, Mino Raiola said.
AS.com reported that Pogba’s agent confirmed that his client is seeking greener pasture three years after going back to Old Trafford from Juventus. His £89.3 million move was a world record then.
The France international appears to be going either to La Liga giant, Real Madrid or Serie A’s side Juventus, although both clubs are financially struggling to tempt the Red Devils to sell Pogba.
Juventus and their new manager, Muarizio Sarri has just signed de Ligt for €80 million from Ajax. With the summer spending they had, Serie A champions should certainly need to offload players or at least negotiate for a player-plus cash deal to United for Pogba’s to join the Italian side.
Raiola is still not ruling out the possibility of Pogba’s move to Turin. In an interview, Pogba’s agent said, “I live my life day by day. This is what I can say. Today I am here; tomorrow, I don’t know.” He believe that everything is possible and anything can happen.
Raiola also said that De Ligt’s move to Turin from Ajax could help make his dream come true of becoming the best player in the world.
Raiola believes that Juventus suits the defender’s career ideas perfectly.
