Juventus have finally sealed the deal for Dutch star defender Matthijs De Ligt on a five-year contract.

The club announced that they signed the player for a fee of €75 million, payable over 5 years with an additional €10.5 million in bonuses. from Juventus which puts an end to speculation on the high profile move.

De Ligt’s wages are reportedly €12 million per year with a buyout clause of €150 million per Raiola’s request. De Ligt completed his medical on Wednesday morning at the J Stadium.

Manchester United and PSG have reportedly had offers accepted by Ajax, but De Ligt had expressed his desire to only join Juventus making the move eminent. Mino Raiola, De Ligt’s agent, had promised the defender that he could leave Ajax for €50 Million if he stuck through the remainder of the 2018/19 season which could explain Juventus’ opening bid for the defender. Ajax rejected the bid but the Old Lady had to seal the deal for such a high profile talent.
