Fabian Delph left Manchester City and joined Everton for an initial fee of £8.5 million plus £1.5 million in add-ons, the Daily Mail reported.

The 29-year-old midfielder joined Manchester City from Aston Villa in 2015, signs a three year contract with Everton.

The England international was part of City’s squad that have captured successive Premier League trophies in the past two seasons. Marco Silva, Everton’s manager is hoping that Delph can bring in some of the experiences he had to the table.

The Everton’s boss said that he is always looking for quality whenever a new player is being brought in. And he believe that Delph possesses such trait that he is looking.

Delph has now joined up with his new teammates at their training camp in Switzerland.

Recently, the club was on fire sale and have released Antonee Robinson to Wigan for £2 million deal.

In a statement, Delph said that he is very excited to play with his new club and hear the fans root and cheer. He also added that he will definitely give all his best for the fans and club.

Delph recently had his medical and was given the green light.
