With Manchester United finishing sixth in the Premier League this season, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been scouting for several players who could fit in his plans for next season. One of them is Wissam Ben Yedder, who has been impressing ever since he arrived at Sevilla.

According to The Daily Mirror, the Red Devils have everything agreed for Ben Yedder to come, but they will only buy him if they sell Romelu Lukaku. Since arriving at Old Trafford in 2017, Lukaku has failed to impress and the club wants to sell him. Inter Milan are very interested in signing Lukaku in a potential £ 80 million move.

If Lukaku isn’t sold, the deal for Ben Yedder would still not be ruled out, but it would affect the negotiation process, with clubs like PSG and Barcelona also interested in the Frenchman.

Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi will try to persuade Ben Yedder to stay with the club, but the £35 million release clause that Ben Yedder has would only make negotiations with other clubs easier.

Ben Yedder enjoyed a successful 2018/19 season that saw him score 30 goals in 53 games while Sevilla qualified for the Europa League once again.
