Official: Everton Complete Signing Of Andre Gomes
Everton have completed the £22 million pound signing of Portuguese central midfielder, Andre Gomes, after he enjoyed a successful spell on loan from La Liga champions, Barcelona, last season.
The 25-year-old has signed a 5-year-deal with the Evertonians, keeping him at the club until June 2024.
The Merseyside club happily announced their new man on their official Twitter page.

He’s back.
He’s a Blue.
“He is a belter…”

Despite only recording 1 goal and 1 assist in the Premier League last season, Andre Gomes impressed enough to attract interest from several English clubs, including Ole Gunnar Solskaer’s Manchester United.
This sees Everton dip into the transfer market for the second time this summer, after successfully securing the signing of Danish goalkeeper, Jonas Lossl, on a free transfer from Championship side, Huddersfield Town.
Gomes managed to start in more league games (24) in his short loan-spell with Everton than he managed in his two years with Barcelona (23), which is a major factor as to why the Portugese-international was willing to make the permanent switch to English football.
