Eintracht Frankfurt enjoyed a strong season in the Bundesliga this past year. Led by their fearsome strikeforce of Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic, and Sebastien Haller, Eintracht finished 7th in the league and reached the Europa League semifinals.
However, their success may also be their downfall. The side performed so well that a number of their players are targets for top clubs in the transfer window this summer.
Sebastien Haller, as well as his striking partners Rebic and Jovic, are all rumored to be available for the right price. Frankfurt’s board member Fredi Bobic even admitted the club could lose all three players in an interview with Bild.
At 24 years old, Haller is beginning to enter the peak years of his career and has done so with style. The Frenchman scored 15 goals and added 9 assists in 29 league appearances for Frankfurt this past season. Haller also fired in 5 goals in 10 Europa League matches.
The French striker has all the tools to be a perfect striker. He’s strong both in the air and on the ground, good at linking up play, pacey, clinical, and intelligent.
According to multiple sources, Borussia Dortmund, West Ham, and Newcastle are the clubs with rumored interest. Will any of them make a move for the French international? Which team do you think he should join? Let us know your thoughts below!
