Pogba’s agent to hold talks with Manchester United over transfer
According to reports, the future of France international and Manchester United Paul Pogba will be straightened out in the coming days.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola is said to fly to Manchester and will hold talks with the English club over the fate of his ward. Raiola will try to broker a £100million deal for the Frenchman to make his move to Spanish giants, Barcelona.
The deep-lying midfielder joined the Old Trafford based English club in August 2016 for a world record transfer fee. However, the performance of the 25-year-old playmaker has allegedly struggled under Manchester United’s big boss Jose Mourinho.
Pogba was crucial to France’s success in the recent FIFA World Cup final in Russia when they defeated Croatia to win the crown.
Mourinho was visibly upset with how Manchester United invested in the transfer window this summer. With the way things are going for Mourinho and Manchester United, the English giant appears to be reluctant in releasing Pogba without any solid replacement despite his agent agitating his transfer to La Liga.
Anthony Martial is expected to leave Manchester United within the week and could suit up for Chelsea in a swap deal involving Willian.
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld could head to Old Trafford with a £60 million deal about to be signed by both camps.
