Munas Dabbur signing almost done for Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have shown interest in Red Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur.
According to reports, Crystal Palace is in talks with Red Bull for the former Grasshopper and Maccabi Tel Aviv striker. Dabbur scored an impressive 29 goals last season for Salzburg and found the net three times in their club’s opening league games of this campaign.
Aside from Crystal Palace, Spanish clubs, Sevilla and Valencia are also keen in acquiring the services of the 26-year-old Israeli international. But with Palace in the race, a switch to Selhurst Park is almost imminent for the Israeli attacker. The English club is said to be on the verge of completing a deal for Dabbur.
During the last Europa League, Dabbur helped the Austrian side reach the semi-final round. His stellar performances have attracted a lot of clubs, making him one of the most sought-after striker.
Palace have already bulked up their squad all summer long. They have acquired goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, West Ham United’s midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate and free agent and former Schalke Max Meyer. The addition of Dabbur would be a welcome sight for Crystal Palace’s manager, Roy Hodgson who is looking to further strengthen his attack before the Premier League starts.
