Real Madrid will make an attempt to lure Harry Kane away from Tottenham Hotspur and into La Liga with a massive bid, claims Don Balon.

The Madrid hierarchy is reportedly not content with their summer transfer business with president Florentino Perez aiming to bring in a statement signing following the €100 million sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Los Merengues are still searching for a box-office replacement with prime targets Neymar and Kylian Mbappe both recently stating their desire to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and Don Balon has now claimed the Bernabeu outfit are still ready to splash the cash, with Tottenham and England striker Kane the latest name to be linked with the club.

Perez is reportedly ready to make the Golden Boot winner of the recently concluded World Cup the world’s most expensive player with a mouth-watering €250 million bid in order for Spurs to let their star forward make the switch into the Spanish capital. The European champions are also said to entice Kane with a handsome salary package worth €30 million per season.

The La Liga outfit hopes the generous sums of cash on offer will tempt Tottenham to cash in on their prized asset but it remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old Kane will have his head turned by Real.
