Multiple sources  (including The Express) are reporting that Leonardo Bonucci ‘s agent is in talks with PSG over the possible transfer of his client to the club.

Manchester United looks set to lose out on a deal for Leonardo Bonucci with the defender’s agent in talks with Paris Saint Germain.

Man United manager, Jose Mourinho has been eyeing a  £30 million deal for the defender .

AC Milan’s tough financial situation means that the defender is available for a transfer after his move from Juventus just 12 months ago.

According to Italian  newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, Bonucci’s agent Alessandro Lucci is in Paris to discuss a deal .

The two parties arranged a meeting to lay the foundation for the transfer of the player this summer. The newspaper also claims that agent Lucci has relayed PSG’ s offer to the defender and the player has now requested time to think about his decision, having until Saturday to make up his mind on the move.

The prospect of  winning a domestic title and playing in the Champions is what is attracting Bonucci to PSG.

That could prove crucial for United if they are to swoop in with a counter offer.

Manchester United themselves will compete in the Champions League next season and they are willing to match whatever wage PSG offers.

It is understood that Milan and Paris Saint Germain hasn’t yet agreed on any fee but once Bonucci gives the green light for the transfer, everything else is expected to go on smoothly.
