Lazio’s Ciro Immobile has been linked with a move to AC Milan. According to CalcioMercato, the Italian forward has given the green light to his agent in order to start talks with the Rossoneri.
Recently, Lazio have become the new AS Roma, being cherry picked on by larger clubs because of their impressive season and player development. De Vrij has already left for Inter Milan and reports suggest that Immobile might head the opposite way. Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli was recently spotted with Immobile’s agent having lunch, with reports saying that Ciro has already approved a move to Milan.
Although Lazio has a European spot, Milan doesn’t following a ban from UEFA, which isn’t a problem for the Italian striker that would usually be a deal breaker for most. Ciro has enjoyed a fantastic season with Lazio, reaching a spot in European competition. He has recently developed into a dominant striker, scoring 52 goals in 69 appearances making him one of the best signings for Lazio in recent years.
After Ciro Immobile and Thomas Strakosha potentially departing the club, Lazio must bring in stars or risk losing the rest of their squad and who knows, AC Milan might have to give up someone in order to stay within the FFP rules and it seems like Suso is the likely candidate.
