Barcelona have had a £50 million offer rejected by Chelsea for their Brazilian international Willian. The 29-year old is currently in Russia competing with his home nation, however The Daily Mail claim that the La Liga giants have held talks with his representatives about the move.

The Catalan side reportedly want to increase squad depth and rate the winger highly. Manchester United are also after Willian, and have held talks back in May. The winger is reportedly keen to move this summer.

Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of the former Shakhtar player and has a priority to bring him to Old Trafford this summer, who appears to be a sought after talent.

It would take a good deal or a large sum of money for Chelsea to agree to let Willian leave this summer, he is still highly valued at the club. However, they have not ruled out a sale, and have a keen interest in Anthony Martial of United.

So they could be willing to deal with the Manchester club, having a history of selling players that way recently, with Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic being the most high profile.

Chelsea will be in the market for a winger this summer, with Leon Bailey an option, as well as them having looked at Wilfried Zaha and a number of others on the shortlist. This would suggest that Willian and Pedro’s future’s could be in doubt, as clubs circle.
