Bayern’s interest in Ricardo Rodriguez is a sign of David Alaba’s exit. Bayern Munich have identified Rodriguez as a potential addition to the camp as AC Milan look to make a couple of sales.

AC Milan have been hit with a deadline by the UEFA body. To avoid any sanctions, ownership must come up with €30 million by June 10th as proof that they are in the green. UEFA will determine whether AC Milan will get sanctioned with a transfer ban or banned from European competition. In order to balance their books, AC Milan are willing to listen to offers for some of their stars. Rodriguez being one of them.

Bayern Munich have recently started a clean up job at the Allianz, prompting speculation on who will be cut or return to the Bavarian side. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern’s chairman, confirmed that the Bavarians are in need to cut on their squad. Lewandowski, Alaba and Boateng have been considered replaceable and Bayern has already been contacted by Juventus for Lewandowski as well as Boateng.

In case Alaba is bought, Bayern is looking to bring Rodriguez back to the Bundesliga where he made his name alongside a then strong Wolfsburg side. AC Milan have already identified Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi if the Swiss decides to join Bayern this summer.
