Hamsik wants Napoli to move for Lobotka
Napoli captain and all-time club top scorer has revealed that he had talks with the club and his compatriot, Stanislav Lobotka, about the latter’s future, according to Calciomercato.
Well apparently, the Slovakia international midfielder wants Lobotka to come to Napoli, and he also recommended his fellow countryman to Il Partenopei.
Hamsik recently gave an interview to the Slovakian press, he said
Napoli asked me about Stanislav Lobotka and he (Lobotka) asked me about Naples: I recommended it, he has a great future ahead of him.
Stanislav Lobotka has been very crucial for Celta Vigo, though his team only finished 12th in La Liga. The 23-year-old midfielder was ever-present for his team after arriving from Danish club Nordsjaelland for a fee around €5 million in 2017.
His ability in the midfield is distinguished. He has amazing ball control, great agility, and an excellent eye for a pass.
The Slovakian midfielder has seen his price skyrocketed as he attracted interests from various teams in Europe, and one of them is Inter. I Nerazzurri has made an offer for Lobotka in the winter transfer window and the midfielder is said to already have a ‘verbal agreement’ with the Milan-based club, but apparently, the transfer failed to materialise. They could come back for the midfielder this summer though if Napoli didn’t act fast. Napoli could also need an additional midfielder to bolster the squad if Jorginho leaves the club.
