Arsène Wenger has finished his time as Arsenal manager and club Chief Executive, Ivan Gazidis, is expecting to finalize a replacement before the FIFA World Cup in June, according to SkySports.

Mikel Arteta has emerged as the favourite candidate after TSG Hoffenheim and Juventus retained their managers’ duties. Julian Nagelsmann and Massimilano Allegri were the two candidates, respectively.

Luis Enrique, Patrick Vieira, and Sam Allardyce have been linked to the Gunners. Yet, none have progressed in negotiations.

Not many options precede Arteta in becoming the new Arsenal gaffer.
