The representatives of Atlanta midfielder Bryan Cristante, has met with both Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks, in order to discuss a potential deal for their client to move to London, according to Sky Sports.

23-year old Cristante was on loan from Benfica before being signed permanently by the Serie A side, and has gone on to have an impressive season in Italy, scoring 12 goals along the way.

The Italy international is thought to be keen on a move to the premier league and hopes to push a move through. However, there is also interest circling from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United.

Cirstante has been a regular feature across the youth levels for Italy, since breaking through AC Milan’s youth academy. He was signed by Benfica for just £4 million in 2014, and is now said to be worth around £20 million.

A hot prospect in world football, the midfield general has a good eye for goal and looks set to become the target of a potential bidding war between some of Europe’s top clubs.
