West Bromwich Albion fans have had a dismal season for numerous reasons but there is a positive, Ben Foster is going nowhere!
The former England international Goalkeeper who retired from international duty is happy to stay at The Hawthorns whatever division they are in next season says The Express and Star.
The 35-year-old has been a fan favourite amongst Albion fans and has openly admitted his children are now Baggies after settling down since being signed by Roy Hodgson.
Foster has been an ever present for Albion when fit, however he has only ever played every minute of a League season once, last season, and that injury record has worried many but that season was last season and he has often been voted West brom’s Player of the Season despite spells on the sidelines which highlights his ability.
Foster was at Manchester United before a few loan spells and a successful period with Birmingham City saw him win the League Cup, after their relegation he was snapped up by West Brom and never looked back.
The news ‘Fozzy’ is staying and the hint others will with him to Albion can ‘bounce back up’ is a positive for West Brom after a torrid season.
