High flying winger Thomas Lemar is a sought after product. The 22-year old could now be available this month as Monaco change their stance on his availability, according to L’equipe.
The French side have previously stated this month that their prize asset is not available until the summer, however fresh reports on Sunday morning have suggested that the club may be about to change their stance and listen to offers this month.
This has alerted Premier League giants Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, who have all expressed an interest in his services this month.
Liverpool of course are set to lose their star player in Philipe Coutinho, who will be joining Barcelona in a 140 million pound deal. However, Sky Sports claim that Liverpool are not interested in signing Lemar, and that they will in fact wait until the summer to replace their Brazilian magician.
So this could potentially leave the door open for Arsenal to wade back in with an offer. Arsene Wengers side were close to signing the France International back in the summer and had a 90 million pound bid on the table. This deal collapsed and now L’equipe report that the gunners will move again.
With Arsenal set to lose Alexis Sanchez this month, who is reportedly close to signing for Manchester City, Lemar could become a real priority for them in the coming weeks.
Chelsea also have the winger on their shortlist of players for January, as reported by The Telegraph earlier this month. But having just singed Ross Barkley from Everton, who is also an attacking midfielder, could this see the blues pull out of any enquiries already made to the French side?
Their Manager Antonio Conte has complained about the size of his squad a number of times this season, so there is a chance they could be making a move as well.
