West Bromwich Albion announced double signings yesterday as they completed moves for Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs and Paris St-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak‏. Gibbs joined on a permanent deal for about £7m while Krychowiak joined on a season-long loan.

These two signings are the fifth and sixth signings made by Tony Pulis at West Brom. Good moves for the Baggies? Only time will tell

Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches has been linked to moves away from the Bundesliga side with constant links to AC Milan and Chelsea. Munich are willing to send him on loan with no option to sell as they believe he has potential at the club. Widespread reports from yesterday claim that Swansea City are set to be the winners and sign him on a season-long loan.

He only joined last summer, from his native country Portugal, from Benfica for a substantial fee of €35 million, at the age of only 18.

Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes who just joined the Blaugarna last summer is now available on a season-long loan alerting West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham were set to sign William Carvalho but after failed negotiations, the club has now joined the race to sign Gomes.

Juventus are also interested. The only problem would be agreeing on a loan fee and accepting his hefty wage packet. Tottenham have also maintained interest in Ross Barkley but are hoping he’d reject Chelsea, stay for another year and join them on a free transfer next summer.

If you’re lost on who Chelsea might sign then don’t worry, we got you! Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has continuously asked for more signings to give him some squad depth. The club could be completing three deals or more today, while finally sanctioning the sale of Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid.

To kick it off with bad news, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain refused to discuss contract details with Chelsea after deciding to pursue a move to his “boyhood” club Liverpool. Moving on to better news, the Champions are most likely to secure the £15m signing of Fernando Llorente from Swansea City. The club are also trying to finalise moves for Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater and Everton’s Ross Barkley.

Drinkwater handed in a transfer request on Monday in order to push a move to Chelsea, but Leicester are still demanding £35m – which is above what Chelsea wanted to offer. With Barkley, Everton rejected an offer of £25m from Chelsea with the London side set to come back with another offer.

Chelsea are known for their surprise deadline day signings, so we could be hearing of new targets emerging out of nowhere! Stay tuned for the latest on Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur fans can be relieved as PSG defender Serge Aurier has been granted a visa by the UK Home Office. The reason there was a delay with his move is because of Aurier’s suspended two-month jail sentence last year, where he assaulted a police officer. After multiple appeals, the jail sentence was reduced to a fine which allowed him to acquire a work visa from the UK. The player is set to be announced sometime today.

The London side announced the signing of  19-year-old Juan Foyth from Estudiantes yesterday, and it seems the club will not slow down on deadline day

Alexis Sanchez is one of the top players that could be on the move on deadline day. Arsenal have already rejected an offer of £50m from Manchester City and have rejected the possibility of Raheem Sterling being involved in a cash+player deal. City are expected to make another bid of £70m and could even go higher in order to reunite Sanchez with boss Pep Guardiola.

Sanchez is currently in Chile training with the international team, with coach Juan Antonio Pizzi denying reports that the FA have let him leave camp. Will he end up leaving Arsenal?

The Algerian FA have announced that Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City has been given permission to leave international duty in order to formalise a deal with his new club. It seems at the moment, he is set to join Barcelona according to widespread reports. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have maintained interest in the player. More on Mahrez as we have it.

The story breaking last night is that Liverpool have agreed an offer of £40m for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The player rejected a move to Chelsea as he refused to be a right-wing back option, preferring to be a midfielder and joining his “boyhood” club Liverpool.

Could this mean AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar moving elsewhere? Stay tuned for more developments.
