Juventus sign Blaise Matuidi from PSG
Serie A champions Juventus have officially signed French midfielder Blaise Matuidi. Signing for an £18 million fee, Matuidi is sure to play a key role in Juventus team looking to win it’s seventh Serie A title in a row. The Frenchman has signed a three-year deal with the Italian club.

Matuidi, 30, leaves Paris Saint-Germain after six years with the French club. Making over 200 appearances, he would go on to win four Ligue 1 titles in the process.
Matuidi’s signing will leave Arsenal and Chelsea fans disappointed. Rumoured to be joining both clubs, Matuidi’s sale can be considered a steal in today’s market. Joining a strong squad, Matuidi looks to be the replacement for Mario Lemina, after the Gabonese midfielder was sold to Southampton.
The recent acquisition of Brazilian superstar Neymar has excited everyone in Paris. However, the move has also unsettled some player’s and their future with the club. Matuidi has already moved on and German midfielder Julian Draxler looks set to follow, with his future up in the air.
These are two talented Champions League squads who have two different transfer mentalities. PSG have gone for star over squad by signing Neymar. Whereas Juventus has bolstered it’s squad, adding the likes of Douglas Costa, Federico Bernardeschi to an already powerful team.
