One of Tottenham’s flops last season might have an escape route as Stoke plot a move to sign Vincent Janssen, according to Daily Mail.

The 22 year old striker was one of spurs buys last season as he was plan to be understudy to star striker Harry Kane. However, when the England international got injured the Netherlands international struggled to make an impact as he only scored 4 goals throughout the campaign with only 1 of them coming from outfield play.

Stoke are not the only team to be interested in the Spurs striker as French giants Marseille also has interested along with Premier League rival West Brom.

The Potters are lacking quality going forward after losing Marko Arnautovic to West Ham. Janssen is not the only attacking their are looking to bring as their hope a deal for PSG winger Jese will be completed this week.

Jese Rodriguez was bound for a move to Italy after failing to impress at French club or even Las Pamlas (where he was loaned out to). However, when he heard Stoke was interested in him, he rejected a move to Fiorentina as he favoured a move to his dream league.

This will bolster Stoke attack, which has been criticized after Arnautovic left the club.
