Malaga want Borja Baston to replace Sandro Ramirez
La Liga outfit Malaga are reportedly looking to make a move for Borja Baston from Swansea City as they prepare for Sandro Ramirez’ departure, as reported by HITC.
Everton have announced two new signings several days ago, Ajax ace Davy Klaassen and Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and now they looked certain to complete another signing with several others potentially joining them as Ronald Koeman plans summer overhaul.
Reported earlier this week by Independent, the Spanish striker has been invited by the Toffees to fly to England to complete a bargain £5.1 million move.
Ronald Koeman’s hopes of signing the striker, who scored 14 La Liga goals last season, will be bolstered after reports from Spain suggested that Malaga have already found a replacement for the 21-year-old. Michel Gonzalez has identified Swansea striker Borja Baston as the ideal man to replace Sandro whose move seems very imminent at the moment.
Borja Baston has endured a frustrating 2016/17 campaign with Swansea City and will be looking to come back to Spain.
The report added that talks are underway between the two clubs.
Swansea reportedly paid £15 million (The Guardian) to sign the Spaniard last season, and they will be looking to recoup a significant portion of the money should they sell the striker.
