Ricardo Quaresma has reportedly re-signed with Besiktas after a deal of €800k was agreed upon as reported by Yorum Yaz of Turkish newspaper Fanatik. The Porto winger had seen an impressive past season with The Dragons and is now set to re-join his previous club Besiktas in the Turkish Superlig.

Whilst his signing is only set to be announced later this week it has already been confirmed by the likes of big time Portuguese newspapers A Bola and Record as well. The contract looks set to have the 31 year old winger join for the next two seasons and earn an estimated €1.3 Million in his salary annually.

Porto, which is currently under a team reconstruction, has ousted the winger from their future plans despite impressive form for the club. In spite of two fruitless seasons with FC Porto, Quaresma has gone on to see one of the best rebuildings of character in the current game. A player that was initially said to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of success was sadly seen waste away due to poor attitude and impatience.

After bouncing around with various clubs it seemed all but over for Quaresma in a move to Al Ahli back in 2013. A season later he was given a lifeline in the form of Porto and has since built himself back into a remarkable winger, once again showing previous signs of his pace, trickery and flair. Quaresma has even gone on to be selected for the Portuguese national team on various occasions after a long period whereby this possibility seemed negligible. With his re-signing at Besiktas yet another new chapter may be on the cards in this winger’s career.
