Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches is on the verge of joining Premier League side Swansea City on loan, according to Di Marzio.

The Portuguese midfielder has been linked with moves across the world all summer, with AC Milan and Chelsea interested.

However, with wanting to play regular football, and with Paul Clement having links to Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti, it looks set for Sanches to head to Wales.

He only joined last summer, from his native country Portugal, from Benfica for a substantial fee of €35 million, at the age of only 18.

Game time was limited in his first year at Bayern, only making 17 appearances in the Bundesliga. He was down the pecking order, behind a ray of talent, with the likes of Thiago and Arturo Vidal ahead of him.

With Swansea recently selling their star man Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, they are on the hunt for another midfielder and it looks as though they have found a replacement.

In other news, Fernando Llorente is set to leave Swansea City to join Antonio Conte at Chelsea while Wilfried Bony is ready to leave Manchester City in order to return to his former side.
