Divock Origi’s days at Liverpool appear to be numbered. After finding himself not named in the squad in a couple of Liverpool’s games early on this season, a move elsewhere may be in both the club’s and player’s best interest.
The 22-year-old Belgian striker’s talent is undeniable, and has caught the attention of a handful of clubs hoping to bring him on to their team. According to reports, Inter Milan are the newest team to have joined the already packed race for Origi’s footballing services. The reports suggests that Inter Milan have joined alongside three English Premier League clubs such as Tottenham, Newcastle United, and Crystal Palace, three German Bundesliga clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, and Wolfsburg, Marseille of the French Ligue 1, and Sampdoria of the Italian Serie A.
Inter Milan are hoping that despite joining the race a little bit later than the others, that they are still a contender in acquiring Origi to their attack.
Divock Origi’s young career went off to a rocket start when he featured for his native Belgium at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. After a strong showing, he joined Liverpool in 2014. Despite a slower start to life in England than expected, the talent still remains and with age on his side, a move elsewhere may be what he needs to reignite his career.
