Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is reportedly trying to push a move through to Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.

According to the newspaper, Hazard dreams of playing for the club and is now looking to move to Spain.

Manager Zinedine Zidane has had a long term interest in the Belgian, however, reports suggest the hierarchy at Madrid would prefer Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.

Hazard is still recovering from a recent injury and just started back in training, making Zidane even more interested.

It comes after the rumours that Gareth Bale could be sold, with Manchester United on the frontline for the Welsh international, but Chelsea are also lurking as contenders.

There could be a swap deal in place for Bale and Hazard, but with the Belgian being younger than Bale, and Chelsea not interested to sell, it looks highly unlikely.

Barcelona are also have allegedly upped their interest to sign the flamboyant winger after losing Neymar to PSG. The Belgian international is thought to have similar quality to Neymar.

Hazard has expressed his interest to stay at Chelsea and has said he is happy at the club, after winning his second title last year.

Antonio Conte said regarding Eden Hazard:

I think these are rumours. Hazard is happy to stay with us and to start the new season.

Chelsea have a depleted squad currently after letting several players go but only four have come in.

With Hazard being Chelsea’s main man, it will be hard to replace the winger, and Chelsea need as much quality as they get can next year, with the defence of their Premier League title coming up, and being back in the Champions League after a poor season in the 2015/16 campaign.
