Serie A side SSC Napoli are rumoured to be very interested in signing Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli and has made an improved offer to the La Liga outfit, as reported by Football-Italia.
Napoli are reportedly ready to raise their offer for Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli to €25m.
But La Real would be reluctant to let go of their first choice goalkeeper, especially after two impressive seasons at Anoeta.
Real Sociedad would want to release him for as much as possible, but there is a €40m release clause in his contract, though Napoli are only prepared to make an offer up to €30m as €40m is deemed too much for them.
The 25-year-old Argentinian goalkeeper was ever-present for Real Sociedad last season as he made 44 appearances in all competition, conceding 63 goals but managed to keep 10 clean sheets to help his club to a 6th placed finish in La Liga last term.
Napoli are linked with several goalkeepers this summer with names like Alex Meret, Orestis Karnezis, Wojciech Szczesny, and several others rumoured to be leaving for Napoli, but so far none of them has completed a move to the club who finished third in Serie A last season.
