Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Monaco wonder-kid Kylian Mbappe after the 18-year-old winger held talks with gunners manager Arsene Wenger, according to a report by the Daily Express.

Mbappe has been scouted by many of Europe’s top clubs with the likes of Real Madrid and PSG also keen on the player.

Arsenal have already had a bid reported to be in the region of £87 million already turned down by Monaco. It is reported that a meeting between Mbappe and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger took place during England’s friendly game against France in an attempt to convince the player to join Arsenal over the top European heavyweights.

However, talks have also been held between Mbappe’s representatives and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about a potential world-record move to the Bernabeu with Mbappe’s family also encouraging the 18-year-old forward to sign for the Spanish giants.

There are many potential offers for Mbappe on the table as as long as he knows where he wants to be playing football next season, whether it is at Monaco is elsewhere, he will continue to turn heads with his ability and continue to make a name for himself in world football.
