Hakan Calhanoglu joins AC Milan
Hakan Calhanoglu has swapped the red and black of Leverkusen for the famous red and black of AC Milan as the Rossoneri have struck a deal with Bayer Leverkusen to sign the Turkish international. Calhanoglu has signed a four-year contract reported to be worth €2.5m per year+incentives in a €24m deal.
The Turkish international will become Milan’s fifth signing of the Summer following Mateo Mussachio, Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez and Fabio Borini.
His exciting capture could quickly be followed by the arrival of Atalanta full-back Andrea Conti who is expected to sign for €25m..
Calhanoglu will bring a lot to Milan. He has a reputation for being a free-kick specialist and will no doubt be an added threat to their set pieces. He can also line up out wide or behind the striker. His technical skill and vision will surely help make Milan’s attack more dangerous next season.
