The Italian giants have apparently shown their interest to sign the German defender and are set to battle English giants Liverpool to get the signature of this player.
Liverpool, having started the season on a high defeating Londoners Arsenal and Chelsea away have been keeping tabs on Jonas Hector and are assumed to land a bid for him in the January transfer window.
Hector has impressed everyone with his performance so far as he started for Cologne in each of their six fixtures so far. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp seems to be a fan of Hector and looks to build a German stronghold as he also got goalkeeper Loris Karius to Anfield this summer.
Although reports have now emerged that Italian side Inter Milan have also been tempted to grab hold of Hector. Liverpool and Inter are both ready to splash the €30m price tag and are to battle it out when the window opens in January.
It‘s rather surprising that the Scousers are looking to get a new left back despite natural midfielder James Milner doing phenomenal in that position this season so far.
The other big side tracking the moves of Hector are Tottehnham Hotspur although no certain interest has been reported by the North Londoners.
