Paul Pogba Completes Manchester United medical at Los Angeles
After a round of speculations about the possible move away from Italian champions Juventus, it seems Paul Pogba will finally put pen to paper and make a return to his youth club Manchester United.
Media in England and Italy claimed that a deal for the player has been agreed and that only a certain conditions were to be met for completing the transfer which is widely expected to break the world record signing held by Real Madrid for roping in Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur.
United are expected to pay a fee around £112 million to complete the transfer with several renowned journalists in Italy and France report that Pogba has even agreed personal terms with United, just the information from the latter’s agent Mino Raiola awaits. Apparently Raiola had demanded a cut for himself for getting the deal done but it was undecided which of the two parties involved will give him the pay. Raiola may be on good terms with the Red Devils as he got two other big names to Old Trafford this summer – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, assuming which there shouldn’t be any hassle in getting Pogba back to Old Trafford.
It is understood that Manchester United had finally agreed to pay Raiola his fee of £20 million. With Pogba currently spending the last term of his break in the United States, British media reports that he’s had a medical with the English giants today in Los Angeles and is expected to fly down to Manchester by this weekend to make the world record signing back to the club which let him go for free 4 years ago
United manager Jose Mourinho is considered to be a big fan of the French talisman and seems interested to get someone of the youngster’s talent to his midfield ranks. Whilst some fans have already started to celebrate the news, the others have been debating if paying such a high price would be the right choice. We’re only going to have to wait and watch what would be the further developments in the ‘Pogba transfer saga’.
