Tottenham Hotspur have brought an end to a quite a long transfer saga by finally agreeing a fee for Fulham’s highly rated young striker Moussa Dembele, as per reports.
The 19-year-old plays as a forward for the Cottagers and has scored as many as nine goals this season, in a total of 26 appearances. The Frenchman is tall, possesses a strong frame and has got a good amount of pace up his sleeve too.
Mauricio Pochetinno’s side have agreed a £5m move for the striker, who is having a medical at White Hart Lane. After completing the move, Dembele will sent back on loan to Fulham and will come back to Spurs when this season draws to a close.
This will be Tottenham’s first signing of the January Transfer Window, which will close in 2 days from now. They sit pretty at fourth in the Premier League table, five points clear of fifth placed Manchester United and thrashed Colchester United 4-1 to progress through to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The last time Spurs signed a youngster and had opted to send him back on loan, he turned out to be a massive success. And he goes by the name of Dele Alli. We can only wait and see as to how this one pans out.
