Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg are reportedly after Schalke full back Sead Kolasinac, as per reports streaming in from German source BILD.
The 22-year-old left back, who was born in Karlsruhe, German but originally hails from Bosnia, has been one of Andre Breitenreiter’s better performers for Schalke this season. Someone who can play as a central midfielder too, Kolasinac has made a total of 13 appearances this season, scoring once and assisting just as many times.
The reports that are suggestive of Wolfsburg’s interest in the Bosnian defender says that former team-mate Julian Draxler’s presence is something that will lure Kolasinac into moving to the Volkswagen Arena. Dieter Hecking is interested in acquiring his services and may well make a move for the former Stuttgart man this month.
A move to Wolfsburg would make sure that Hecking can consider bids for current first choice left back Ricardo Rodriguez, who has long been on the radar of the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
After starlet Leroy Sane and star center half- Joel Matip, Kolasinac happens to be the third player to have drawn links with moves away from the Veltins Arena this January.
