Arsenal linked with French Midfielder
Arsenal have been keeping tabs on promising Nice youngster Vincent Koziello, according to a report in France.
GetFootballNewsFrance have claimed that a host of top clubs were present at Nice’s last game with Lyon to catch a glimpse of the Frenchman.
The Gunners currently possess three attacking midfielders in the form of Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky. However, with both Cazorla and Rosicky nearing the end of their Arsenal careers, it seems Wenger is on the lookout for a promising youngster to fill the void which will eventually be left when the pair leave the club.
Koziello looks like another classic Wenger signing, relatively unknown to the world but has the potential to shine if given the chance by the Arsenal manager.
The 20-year-old started his career with French side Cannes before being snapped up by Nice in 2013 and has since gone on the represent the club 14 times. Should Wenger decide to take his interest in the player any further, then the player may well be open to a move to the Gunners after the successes of other youngsters who have made the move and were given the opportunity at similar ages to represent the club.
