Bournemouth chasing Bakary Sako
A report emerging tonight suggests that Premier League newcomers Bournemouth are preparing a bid for former Wolves winger, Bakary Sako. The Daily Star claim that the attacker wants an £80,000 per week contract which would make him the highest paid player in the club’s history.
Sako was released at the end of last season’s campaign after the club and player failed to come to terms with a new contract. The player has since tried his best to force a move to the top flight.
The Star also claim that Aston Villa are the front-runners at the moment. However, Bournemouth will offer big money for the winger in hope of luring him down south.
The Premier League new boys are not scared of doing business as they have already showed this summer. They have already captured the likes of Tyrone Mings, Adam Federici and Josh King in the hope of staying in the top flight for another season.
The Cherries hope to seal a deal for Sako which could see him replace Callum Wilson, who could depart for Aston Villa in the coming weeks.
